Let the Canon Fire Begin!

Stonewall Manor will host its Annual Spring Civil War Living History/Reenactment event the weekend of June 1-3.  The grounds will once again be decorated by lovers  and educators of Civil War history from across the state including Latham’s Battery 13^th N.C., Reilly’s Battery, Edenton Bell Battery, NC Naval Squadron, Olde South Blacksmiths, Mallet’s Battalion Provost Guard & music by the Tar River Dulcimers.

Stonewall Manor, along with the Civil War encampment, will be open both Saturday and Sunday, June 2^nd & 3^rd from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  We will have events throughout the day including hands on activities, canon fire, musket shooting, skirmishes and historical lectures.  There will also be a sutler and concessions.  We welcome everyone from our great city and all surrounding communities to come take part in a piece of history that has been overlooked and misinterpreted by many.  Historic Stonewall Manor is a true treasure to the great city of Rocky Mount and we are lucky to be able to celebrate it in its 181^st call us at 252-442-0063 – you can also find us on Facebook! year since inception with fantastic living history events such as this.  For more information, please  Fees will be: $5.00 – Adults; $3.00 – Seniors; $2.00 – Children.  Come visit one of North Carolina’s most recognizable historic landmarks and a take part in a piece of the past that you can carry with you into the future!
